Quick answers

Is Freebee really free?
Yes. There’s no payment system, no boosted listings, and no premium tier. The only thing you pay is a few minutes of your time — and even those are shorter now that AI writes the listings for you.
How does the AI autofill work?
Drop a photo into the image well on the post page and use “Describe this with AI.” Your photo is sent to an AI model (Anthropic via the Vercel AI Gateway), which returns a title, category, condition rating, short description, and a few hashtags. Anything you already typed wins — AI only fills the blanks.
What does “first to offer” mean in practice?
Offers on a listing are stamped in order. The item’s owner sees a numbered queue and decides who to give it to — #1 had the head start, but the owner has the final say. Save an alert for the kinds of items you want and your browser will ping you the moment one is posted.
Where does Freebee operate?
Right now: Jerusalem and the Tel Aviv metro. As more neighbors join, we’ll spread out from there.
Can I list things other than furniture and appliances?
For the proof-of-concept, we’re focused on the bulky, hard-to-move stuff. Smaller items may come later. The hashtag system means you can describe a couch as #vintage #blue or a fridge as #compact #white — whatever helps people find it.
Found a problem with a listing?
Hit the “Report” section on the item page, or email support@freebee.bz with the listing title and we’ll take a look the same day.
